Objectives
-The objectives of Waterfront Festival of International Films through its film festivals, workshops and indulgence are dedicated to nurturing and encouraging new film making talent, honouring the great masters of world cinema and providing audiences with a unique opportunity to engage in an appreciation of and a conversation about the art of cinema as it is represented around the world.
The niche objective however will be to develop Lavasa as the most attractive destination for the International Film Festival Community as well as establish a global cinema in content development

The only festival organized and presented by the senior citizen community at the famed Ashiana Utsav Lavasa set in picturesque Sahyadri hills of Maharashtra, India, the Waterfront Festival of International Films and offers a flavorful palette of films that routinely attracts cineastes from all over the world. The first edition of the festival will feature more than 100 films and present juried and awards in a range of competitive categories -- including Best Feature Film, Best Documentary, Best International Film, and Best Short Film.
The 2016 Film Festival will feature the finest films from all countries. On the awards’ night select filmmakers will enjoy complimentary local hospitality, an intimate and friendly atmosphere conducive to networking with some of the most gifted artists of today, and eye-opening industry personnel at the most prestigious Ashiana Utsav Club House in Lavasa.
