Accepting Films in the following categories. Native American Narrative Feature Films Any narrative work of fiction of U.S. origin about, by or featuring Native Americans with a running time of 50 minutes or More or must be a work featuring Native Americans as members of the cast or crew. Native American Documentary Feature Films Any non-fiction film of U.S. origin about, by or featuring Native Americans with a running time of 50 minutes or more. If documentary contains some dramatization of actual events, you may submit in this category, but we will ultimately decide which program is best suited for your project, if accepted. Indigenous Americas Narrative Feature Films Any narrative work of fiction that originates from North, Central or South America excluding the U.S. with a running time of 50 minutes or more. Works made by AND/OR about indigenous groups of the Americas. Must include English subtitles. Indigenous Americas Documentary Feature Films Any non-fiction film by AND/OR about indigenous groups of the Americas that originates from North, Central or South America excluding the U.S. with a running time of 50 minutes or more, If your documentary contains some dramatization of actual events, you may submit in this category, but we will ultimately decide which program is best suited for your project, if accepted. Must include English subtitles. Native American Short Films Any narrative fiction OR documentary film of U.S. origin about, by or featuring Native Americans with a running time of less than 20 minutes, including credits. Indigenous Americas Short Films Any narrative fiction or documentary film with a running time of less than 20 minutes, including credits, that originates from North, Central, South America excluding the U.S. with a running time of less than 20 minutes. Works made by AND/OR about indigenous groups of the Americas. Must include English subtitles. Student Shorts Films Any narrative fiction OR documentary that originates from North, Central, South America and the U.S. Works made by, about or features Native Americans or Indigenous groups of the Americas. Music Video’s Any music video from the U.S. Only by a Native American group or Individual. Submissions for music video’s are only accepted on FilmFreeway.
