MIX, the longest-running queer film festival in NYC, has presented experimental film, video and installation art annually since 1987, and is the premier festival of its kind, having influenced a direction in current media through its films. The festival's temporary autonomous zone initiates a total, immersive experience, of screenings, site-specific installations, performances, food and music.
