FMX, Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Transmedia is Europe's most influential conference for digital entertainment where Art, Technology and Business meet. Every year, artists, specialists, scientists, producers and other key people come to FMX to network and to discuss production issues, exciting technologies and new ways of financing and distribution across the industries with an international audience. FMX enjoys a long-standing partnership with the Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart (ITFS). Together they host the Animation Production Day (APD), a business platform for invited guests from the animation industry only. FMX is an event by Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, organized by the Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction. It is an event in cooperation with VES Visual Effects Society, ACM SIGGRAPH, 5D Institute, and Eurographics. FMX is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts and the Ministry for Finance and Economic Affairs of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the MFG Film Funding and the FFA German Federal Film Board. FMX 2015 takes place May 05-08 in Stuttgart, it's the 20th anniversary edition.
