Depth Of Field International Film Festival Fall

The goal of the Depth Of Field International Film Festival is to help the winners in this competition achieve recognition and distribution opportunities. 

That is why we are a competition, instead of a traditional film festival: 100% of our effort goes into finding a market for you, not into renting theatres and throwing parties. 

To that end, we are working with distributors connected to the AFM in Santa Monica to give our winners a chance to be seen by the buyers around the world that matter.

One such distributor, World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation (WWMPC.COM), is a diversified, established company founded in 1977.  With shareholders throughout the world, they are primarily involved in the development, financing, production and distribution of feature films, documentaries, short subjects, industrials, and television productions. 

WWMPC and its industry executives and board members have produced, distributed and consulted on a wide variety of film and TV projects, earning Academy awards, Emmy awards, and prizes from international film festivals:  selective festivals with only the highest caliber international submissions such as DOFIFF.

We know how difficult it is for even the most worthy film to be picked up and represented by a major distributor due to the vast number of projects on the market.  If your film has what it takes, you just may be one of the lucky few to be screened by distributors such as WWMPC, Shoreline Entertainment, Koan Distribution,  Fantastic Films International...established companies with a taste for independent film. 

All winners will also have their trailers shown on the exclusive WRPN.tv Entertainment News website, right next to celebrity interviews with the likes of Hollywood elite such as George Takei, John Landis, Maggie Q., Bai Ling, and many others. 

All official selections and winners will be listed on the DOFIFF website, and ALL will have their trailer of under 3 minutes posted.

ANY FILM RECEIVING A REJECTION LETTER gets FREE EARLYBIRD ENTRY into DOFIFF’s next competition

If your film is not accepted into the festival, you WILL receive these two benefits: 

1. You will receive a letter explaining to you exactly what it was about your film that needed correcting or improving.  All festivals send out rejection letters, but they never explain why, and that can make you feel pretty empty.  We are going to help you, not just say ‘thanks but no thanks."
2. If you can correct or improve the items that we suggested to you, you may re-enter the same film to DOFIFF in the following year for FREE if sent by the Earlybird deadline.  Again, we want to help you make your film better.
