Submission Rules
The Nozstock Cinetent accepts fictional, documentary and experimental features, short films, music videos and children’s films. These will be screened as par t of Nozstock: The Hidden Valley over the weekend of 1-3 August 2014. Contributors to Nozstock’s homegrown shorts programme range from professional filmmakers to first attempt amateurs, the only specific criteria for qualification being that films are based around a strong original concept.
Nozstock will consider family-friendly feature films for daytime screenings. Otherwise a maximum running time of 30 minutes per film is specified.
This is not a competitive festival, however your work stands to be seen by 5000 visitors. There is no submission fee. Films are non-returnable.
Submission Deadline
Submissions will be accepted from 1 January 2014. The final deadline is 13 June 2014.

Submission Format
Films should be submitted PAL format as hi-resolution standard definition .MOV or .AVI ideally (though DVD is also acceptable) and should include a brief synopsis, submission form, 2 production stills and relevant information and contacts regarding the filmmaker/s.
A 5000 capacity music and arts festival set in rural Herefordshire, West Midlands UK. Nine-stages of music and performance art with dedicated 3-day cinema. Cinema currently curated by MASH Cinema. Previous programmes provided by: Encounters Festival in Bristol, London-based innovators onedotzero, Manchester-based northern Exposures, quality stalwarts BBC Film Network and by Nozstock The Hidden Valley. And live performances from: The Light Surgeons, Max Hattler, Scanone and Modulate.
This is a non-competitive, free to submit festival.
