Year after year, CIFF has become a Cambodian can’t-miss event for filmmakers and cinema lovers. Since its creation, CIFF expands and diversifies its program and each edition consolidates its established reputation. It is a great honor to announce that Mrs Angelina Jolie will pursue her support for Cambodian artists by taking on the honorary position of Patron of the Cambodia International Film Festival.
Throughout the festival, movies screen in 9 venues in Phnom Penh, including most of the commercial theaters. Public screenings are also organised in at outdoor venue. Types of movies include international short and feature films, documentaries, film made in or about Cambodia, youth-oriented films and animation.
CIFF gathers each year local and international filmmakers and gathers an audience of over 18 000 and showcase over 160 screenings and events over 6 days of film celebration in Phnom Penh.
