With the knowledge that arts and cultural events can help a town thrive, the Roslyn Film Festival was started by Commissioner Lori Schreiber as part of a revitalization plan for her community. She, and a very dedicated group of volunteers, began meeting in the Fall of 2006. The first film festival was in late March 2007—and a tradition was born.
The decision was made to have the event at the Roslyn Firehouse as a benefit for the volunteer firefighters. In fact, every event that has been sponsored by the Roslyn Events Committee has donated all proceeds to non-profit or charitable organizations. The Firehouse is vital to the heart of our community, and we want to ensure its continued success.

Movies must be sent in DVD Format with all contact information. No nudity or language unsuitable for all ages. (We consider this event to be rated PG13, though occasionally some younger audience members may also attend with parents at their discretion)
Fill out an entry form (attached) and submit it with your entry fee. Submission of films and entry fee does not guarantee that your film will be shown. Due to event time restrictions, all films will be viewed by preliminary judges and only the top films will be shown. You will receive notification if your film is selected prior to the event.
