FEMI International Cinema Festival of Guadeloupe

The aim of this event is to introduce the youth and people at large to quality international productions and also to the productionsfrom the Caribbean and the southern countries.This event is planned to contribute to a better knowledge of the different cultures.The festival helps to increase exchanges between professionals.

The FEMI FESTIVAL 2010 organized by ICM (Images and Cultures of the world) which is an Law 1901 non-profit association receives the support of the Regional Council, the Overseas departments ministry, the DRAC of Guadeloupe, The youth and sports regional administration, the women rights commission.

The 16th edition of the FEMI International Cinema Festival of Guadeloupe will be held from January 29 th to February 6 th 2010 in the city of Le Lamentin  in Guadeloupe (French West Indies).

The theme of this new edtition is "From the West Indies to Asia". It's the opportunity for people to discover the cultural assets of this region.

The festival also presents its permanent sections such as:

Including a films schedule (in competition and off competition) within the framework of six section
