KALIBER35 Munich International Short Film Festival is pleased to announce the Call for Entries for its 9th edition, which will take place from the 19th to the 25th of June 2014 in the Bavarian capital.
The International Competition showcases every year an eclectic selection of the world's best contemporary short films. The 35 competing short films (all of which are not in German language) are presented within five categories named after the five tastes SWEET, SOUR, BITTER, SALTY and UMAMI. All films are screened in their original English language or with English subtitles.
Along with the International Competition comes the KURZ&KNAPP (SHORT&TIGHT) Kinosportcup: participants, professional as well as amateur filmmakers, are asked to make a complete short film in just 35 hours. The competition has been a big success so far and it is confirmed also for the 2014 edition.
