OFF has broadened their special programs this year to give filmmakers and enthusiasts more insight into the business and the labor of love film requires. We are so happy to be partnering with leaders in entertainment to bring you this high caliber program.

Distinguished Artists
 

The Ojai Film Festival annually awards two Distinguished Artists, one to an actor or director, representing the talent aspect of filmmaking, and the other to a second professional in recognition of the vision and expertise of those who help create the cinematic art form.

 
  Cinematographer Seminar w/ Robert Elswit

Elswit earned an Academy Award for his camerawork in the period drama There Will Be Blood (2007), also earning the ASC Award and other honors for the picture.

  Director’s Seminar with Frederick Toye

Frederick E. O. Toye, born on September 26, 1967, in Los Angeles, has established himself as a distinguished television director and producer, celebrated for his remarkable storytelling and visual artistry.

4 Films to delight! A female take on the tech industry. A Jewish grandmother’s true story of escape. Founders of sexuality and relationship therapy. A legendary penny arcade in San Francisco.

  NFMLA Diversity Screening Block
