TOKYO CALLING showcase supported by The Orchard Japan @ SXSW

Following the TOKYO CALLING showcase at SXSW, TOKYO CALLING will be touring the West Coast with Backdrop Cinderella and GOKUMON. The tour will take place in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

TOKYO CALLING is a live house circuit festival that started in Tokyo in 2016. It is a festival that spans three days in September every year, featuring approximately 400 artists performing at around 40 venues. The festival attracts 10,000 spectators. Since 2023, we have been hosting showcase events at SXSW. This year, in collaboration with The Orchard Japan, we held an event at Elysium on March 11th (Monday) from 8:00 PM. The lineup included BackDrop Cinderella, Chiaki Mayumura, Chameleon Lime Whopiepie, Tokyo Syoki Syodo, HALLEY, and six other acts. We delivered the music of Japan's live house scene.

Additionally, on March 12th (Tuesday), the Inspired By Tokyo stage held at Elysium. This showcase was presented by FRIENDSHIP, Spincoaster, and The Orchard Japan. We brought Japanese music to you over the two days.
