Theo Angelopoulos Tribute

The Haifa IFF marks a decade to the passing of Theo Angelopoulos (1935-2012) , one of the great masters of world cinema, and celebrates the work of the man, the artist, our friend, who visited the festival on three occasions and received the Haifa IFF Life Achievement Award.

The tribute will include four of his unforgettable films:

Voyage to Cythera

In 2005, at the Opening Gala of the Haifa IFF, Theo Angelopoulos met Willem Dafoe. The result of that meeting was The Dust of Time.
