Historic ratings for the Cannes Festival Opening Ceremony

Yesterday, the opening of the 75th Cannes Film Festival hosted by Virginie Efira aired on France 2 and Brut.

More than 5M cinema-lovers followed the Ceremony live on France 2.

The show recorded its highest ever market share (12.2%) and best ratings since 2011 (1.8M viewers).

On Brut, videos published on the occasion of the Opening Ceremony recorded a total of 10.6 million views worldwide, including 5.2 million in France. Videos were posted on Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Snapchat.
