Only Human wins Audience Award and Cineuropa Award at Lecce Festival

This year's Cineuropa Award goes to Igor Ivanov's Only Human.

The film shows six faces, six episodes linked through a darkly comic thread. Lost characters meet sporadically in a modern metropolis in an overarching quest for a way to survive. The unemployed graduate becomes an undertaker, the widow becomes a nun, priests gamble and gangsters rule the city. Despite the tragedy, the film amuses us and gives us hope through the eyes of a child, when all seems lost.
