We are proud to announce this year's 17 Nordic Film Lab participants! Nordic Film Lab is Göteborg Film Festival's exclusive networking forum for up-and-coming Scandinavian filmmakers. The 17 participants will meet during this year's digital edition of Göteborg film festival.
One of the most vital functions of a film festival is to act as a meeting place. Since 2008, Göteborg Film Festival has worked on enhancing this particular function by creating a special forum for talented filmmakers. Nordic Film Lab is a one-year programme that has two functions: partly to be a place where you meet potential future work partners, and partly to be a place for in-depth discussions about the art of filmmaking and creativity.
Thanks to the collaborations with our partners Film i Väst, Norwegian Film Institute, Danish Film Institute, Finnish Film Foundation and Swedish Film Institute we are proud and happy to welcome the participants of Nordic Film Lab 2021!

Lineup of completed Nordic feature films at Nordic Film Market unveiled
12 completed Nordic feature films will be presented as closed market screenings at the 2021 online edition of Nordic Film Market.
The 2021 lineup of completed films include Ninja Thyberg's Pleasure (Sweden), Lisa Jespersen's Persona Non Grata (Denmark), Ronnie Sandhahl's Tigers (Sweden) and Zaida Bergroth's Tove (Finland) all competing in the Göteborg Film Festival's Nordic Competition as well as Anders Thomas Jensens' Riders of Justice (Denmark), Hamy Ramezan's Any Day Now (Finand) and Charlotte Blom's Diana's Wedding (Norway) and more.
The Nordic Film Market screenings are accessible only for buyers, sales agents and festival programmers attending the market.
