THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE
For the 3rd consecutive year, the representatives of Cinema in Taiwan collaborate with Fantasporto, sending films restored, or only recovered, from its collection. Whether from fictional narratives, documentaries or even experimental, this is a unique opportunity to get to know this rich and innovative cinema. After having addressed the great classics in 2018, the role of women and the influence of cinema in the emancipation of Taiwanese women in 2019, we now present, in this 40th edition of the festival, this retrospective which, under the generic title of one of the films that integrate it, THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE, takes us to classic films from 1969 or 1998 and to more recent ones, even from 2019.
For the th ird consecutive y ear, the official entity that represents Taiwanese Cinema co-operates with Fantasporto, sending us, this time, a selected group of restored or even just recovered films from its archive. This is a unique opportunity to know this cinema, so rich and innovative. After approaching the great classics in 2918, the role played by woman in the cinema which helped their emancipation in society in 2019, we present a program in this 40 th edition of the festival under the name of one of the features integrating it, THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE , a group of classical films dating back to 1969 or 1998, till more modern ones, even from 2019.
