In conversation with Andrei Konchalovsky a free man !

I have worked three times over the last decades with Andrei Konchalovsky, a true privilege to know this very talented filmmaker with an incredible film knowledge.

We first met in my ad agency days at JWT on two commercials he shot for my clients: the Gold Mastercard launch film, a parody of North by Northwest shot in Texas, and secondly in Tuscany and Cinecitta for Lux toilet soap which Sophie Marceau was starring.

Later on when he shot "The Inner Circle" for Sony I was in charge of the french office, we also brainstormed on a script I had with Sharon Stone attached which we were trying to improve and finance...Always a pleasure to catch up.

We sat down in  the boutique Schlössle Hotel in the old town of Tallinn after he received his life time award from PÖFF 23 Tallinn Black Night Film Festival
