A message from Justice Singleton

Look at the cap Justice  is wearing, the same as her dad in Cannes 28 years ago at The Boyz n the Hood screening!.

We ended up organising this trip in less than a week discussing with Thierry Fremaux on top of th ered carpet and with help of Gerald Duchaussoy and Frédérique Ballion which i thank here warmly for all the great support. Justice flew from LA the very day of the memorial she had organized for her dad.

This is how Justice considered taking a trip to Cannes with an email message to me, after she found my article on filmfestivals.com on the work we did on Boyz'n the Hood.

I am happy to share this private conversation which ended up in having Justice fly, attend, give panels and walk the same path her dad took 28 years earlier. I think there is a message her for all young filmmakers... :-)

Hey Bruno! 

My dad talked about his experience at Cannes, friendships made during his trip. BOYZ N THE HOOD at Cannes twenty eight years later put a smile on my face and I know his spirit and soul are happy.

Not sure if Cannes has talent or plans someone attend, introduce or participate in a Q&A on Thursday, 5/23.  Is there any world where Cannes would allow me to attend and participate in person. As a film lover, filmmaker and daughter I would love to be apart of this conversation.
