Dante Lam's THE RESCUE comes to Cannes 2019

The Rescue, directed by Dante Lam, an action drama. Principal photography of this $750 million RMB blockbuster began in November 2018 and was shot on locations in Xiamen, with the assistance of the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China. The major rescue scenes at sea are currently shooting in Baja Studios in Mexico.

 

Eddie Peng stars as Gao Qian, the captain of an Emergency Response Unit that engages in chopper rescue missions and the up-and-coming Xin Zhilei as Fang Yuling, his beautiful and outspoken pilot. Together they must race against the clock to save lives on every rescue mission against all odds.
