The New Orleans French Film Festival kicks off today

The New Orleans Film Society (NOFS) announced the complete lineup of films and live music performances for the 22nd annual New Orleans French Film Festival, February 15-21 at the Prytania Theatre.

The festival lineup features 17 feature-length films, 3 short films, and free live music performances—in partnership with Krewe du Kanaval—prior to select film screenings and the World Premiere of On Va Continuer!, a documentary about the Grammy-winning Louisiana band Lost Bayou Ramblers. Five films will be followed by a question and answer session with the director in attendance.

The lineup features new work from long-established filmmakers like Jean-Luc Godard alongside first films from newer filmmakers like Samara Grace Chadwick, in addition to a few classic titles that audiences will surely recognize. 

All films will be screened with English subtitles. Passes and individual tickets for screenings are now available to the public at neworleansfilmsociety.org.
