Kenya Launches a screen play competition with KSHS 2M in prize

As part of initiatives to grow the film industry in Kenya and expand the market of Kenyan films both in Kenya and other markets (Africa and Asia), Ministry of ICT, through Kenya Film Commission (KFC) and Kenya Film School is launching a Film Script Writing Competition.

 

Apart from the winning prize money, scripts will be pitched to international film producers to explore possibilities of the scripts being turned into full feature film and the resultant film showcased in both local and international markets.

The launch event will be officiated by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of ICT Joe Mucheru.
