The Henri Langlois Awards in Paris
The awards ceremony took place under the eyes of an Eiffel Tower draped with mist and clothes of light in the mythical places of Trocadero which hosted, not so long ago, the cinematheque dear to Henri Langlois: tuesday January 22 at the City of Architecture and Heritage the profession was reunited to honor the cinema and the memory of Henri Langlois in the presence of his son and his niece.
I was very happy to see that the great work of the festivals, big or small, was honored with a prize awarded to the artistic director of Venice, Alberto Barbera, and the founders of the festival Les Arcs.
The lively ceremony was hosted with the usual talent of Patrick Fabre and was followed by a reception.

La cérémonie s’est déroulée sous les yeux d'une Tour Eiffel drapée de brume et d'habits de lumière dans les lieux mythique du Tocadero qui accueillaient, il n'y a pas si longtemps, la cinémathèque chère à Henri Langlois: ce mardi 22 janvier à la Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine la profession était réunie pour honorer le cinéma et la mémoire d’Henri Langlois en présence de son fils et de sa nièce.
J'ai été fort heureux de voir que le beau travail des festivals, grands et petits, a été mis à l honneur avec un prix remis au directeur artistique de Venise, Alberto Barbera, et aux fondateurs du festival des Arcs.
La cérémonie animée avec le talent habituel de Patrick Fabre a été suivie par une réception.
