Coastline is about the time spent and the events that might happen in a particular place when you wait for a story to unfold.

Sometimes the story has already begun before you arrive. 

Sometimes you arrive at the same time. 

At other times you have to wait for the story to arrive. 

Once the story has begun you record it without knowing the outcome.
