PRODUCERS FROM THE NETHERLANDS

The Netherlands Film Fund introduces producers from the Netherlands. The Film Fund is the national agency responsible for supporting film production and film related activities in the Netherlands. Its focus is to develop and strengthen Dutch cinema and film culture both domestically and internationally. The Film Fund offers various selective support schemes on production and distribution for minority Dutch co-productions. It also runs the Film Production Incentive, offering a 30% cash rebate on production costs spent in the Netherlands and oversees the activities of the Netherlands Film Commission.
Koji NELISSEN – KEPLERFILM
Koji Nelissen started his career in advertising and later worked as a producer at Waterland Film. In these years, he (co)produced amongst the many shorts and feature film o.a. Bullhead (Michael Roskamp). In 2016 together with Derk-Jan Warrink he started Keplerfilm. The goal of Keplerfilm is to tell stories; whether funny or sad, always deeply human and with a heart, and aiming to intellectually entertain the audience. And always with a strong focus on developing and nurturing talent.
Maaike NEVE – BIND
BIND’s objective is to tell striking, unique stories that move and inspire, that open eyes and take root. BIND develops and produces genuine, provocative films about real people and the quest for their identity. Films that have proven to be a powerful way to portray contemporary topics in an intriguing or surprising manner. Our aim is to create an effective connection between engaged filmmakers and their audience.
Steven RUBINSTEIN MALAMUD – IJSWATER FILMS
For over 20 years Amsterdam based IJswater Films (‘Icewater Films’) is one of the stable operating film- and television production companies in the Netherlands, when it comes to developing and producing proven high quality features, tv drama, shorts and documentaries that have been selected at festivals over the world. o.a.The Polish Bride (Golden Globe Nomination, Cannes Critics Choice), Skin (Emmy Award Nomination), Win/Win (Prix Genève Europe Script Award, 45 festival selections).
Sabine BRIAN – NL FILM
Since its foundation, NL Film has built up an impressive oeuvre of short and feature-length films, youth drama and television drama series. A striking feature of the company’s output is the breadth of target groups it has been able to reach. Thanks to a diverse range of feature films including The Resistance Banker, Tonio, The Storm, NL Film is among one of the most active, contemporary Dutch film producers. Many of the company’s productions have won awards and/or nominations.
Eefje SMULDERS – BOSBROS
BosBros has set the standard for high-quality film and television productions in the Netherlands since 1989. BosBros has also introduced Dutch youth films and television series abroad and won many International awards. The Bos Bros productions are timeless and therefore for each new generation of children and their parents a great way of entertainment. BosBros’s challenge for the future is, besides producing many new feature films, to conquer the European market with animation projects.

A special opportunity for Producers Network participants to meet each other and pitch their project, share experiences, and why not, find the perfect partner for co-production !

Plage des Palmes
Eurimages is the cultural support fund of the Council of Europe. Active since 1989, it currently numbers 37 of the 47 member states of the Strasbourg-based Organisation, plus Canada as Associate member.
Eurimages promotes independent film-making by providing financial support to feature-length fiction, animation and documentary films. In doing so, it encourages co-operation between professionals established in different countries.
