SingularDTV, the blockchain entertainment studio, rounds out its marketing team with Thessa Mooij as Director of Communications and Simone Cassas as Director of Creative Services. Both work out of the company's New York office and report to Senior VP of Marketing Oliver Mahrdt (formerly North American representative of German Films) as SingularDTV prepares for Berlin and SxSW.

The founder of the ten-year old publicity firm Silversalt PR, Thessa Mooij ran successful campaigns for festival premieres, theatrical runs and awards season - leading to top prizes in Sundance, Berlin, Venice, and Toronto. A graphic designer by training, Simone Cassas has been based in New York for the past five years, creating and directing feature-length documentaries  (EVERYTHING IS BRAZIL, TRILOGY OF THE BODY), promos, corporate videos, shorts, PSA's and on-air, off-air packages and print materials.

As SingularDTV's President of Entertainment Kim Jackson comments, "We are undergoing tremendous growth since our business model to create an alternative entertainment economy is already proving to be a real-life success, far beyond start-up dreams or white paper ambitions. With their solid, international backgrounds in entertainment, our brand new team is perfectly positioned to communicate the game-changing impact of what we do. They will steer all marketing efforts from the New York office, making sure to impact audiences around the world."

Headquartered in Switzerland's 'crypto valley' of Zug, SingularDTV has a New York office for the company's extensive entertainment activities ranging from music to film, games and books. The company raises funds on the Ethereum platform, letting artists develop, produce and distribute their new work with digital apps powered by blockchain technology.

SingularDTV co-founders Jackson and Zach LeBeau (CEO) are headed to Berlin to connect with international key players, including a presentation for the German Producers' Guild.

At SxSW they will be leading two panels: Blockchain & the Impact of a Decentralized World with Alex Winter (DEEP WEB) who is  in postproduction with a SingularDTV-powered documentary about the game changing technologies behind cryptocurrency and blockchain. The other examines the creation of an alternative entertainment economy, featuring Gramatik, XYZ's Nate Bolotin and other artists that the company 'tokenized'.

Last November SingularDTV's app Tokit raised $2.48 million worth of Ether crypto currency for Gramatik, the electronic music producer, by tokenizing him, meaning fans are able to buy 'tokens' - i.e. shares in his intellectual property. SingularDTV is in pre-production for the $5 million sci-fi film NEW FRONTIERS, together with partners XYZ, Ground Control Entertainment, FUTURISM STUDIOS and producer Kyle Franke.
