TERENCE STAMP Joins the Cast of VIKING DESTINY

Film Mode Entertainment Announces the Berlin Market Premiere of Epic Odyssey Adventure from Writer-Director David LG Hughes – an electrifying depiction of Seafaring Viking warriors and the addition of the legendary Terence Stamp to the cast

 Film Mode Entertainment, Misfits Entertainment, Fatal Black Film and  Six Mile Hill announce the addition of Terence Stamp (MISS PEREGUINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN, STAR WARS, THE ADVENTURES OF PRISCILLA – QUEEN OF THE DESERT)to the new feature film, VIKING DESTINY, an epic odyssey adventure following the lives and legendary crusades of Scandinavian explorers. Stamp will play Odin, the Viking God of War and Wisdom. David LG Hughes is directing with Andee Ryder producing (ALLEYCATS – which was recently released in the US). The film is set to begin production this April and will be shooting in Northern Ireland (UK).

The film follows the perilous ascension of a beautiful, young Norse girl and rightful heir to the Viking Kingdom. In order to seize her legacy, she must cultivate the predatory instincts of a hellcat and the skills of a ruthless warrior.

 

“Viking Destiny tells the story of a Princess who is banished from her kingdom after being framed for the murder of her father, the King. She travels the world under the guidance of the Viking God Odin (Stamp), building the army she needs to regain her throne.” He continued, “I wrote the part of Odin with Terence Stamp’s photo on my desktop as inspiration. So actually having Terence play Odin in the movie is mindbogglingly exciting.”

 

VIKING DESTINY is being produced by Andee Ryder and David LG Hughes. Executive producers include Kwesi Dickson, Clay Epstein and Tony Krantz.
