"Through the Pane" to play Porto7 Film Fest!

"Through the Pane" will represent the USA in the documentary section of the Porto7 Film Festival in Porto, Portugal, June 8-12, 2016. The festival will be held at Forte de S. João Baptista da Foz – Teatro da Vilarinha. ADMISSION IS FREE!

Written and helmed by Dawn Westlake, the film is based on the personal memoir chapter of her father, Donald G. Westlake, winner of the Studs Terkel Humanities Award in 1999.

The short film was made on location in Wheaton, Illinois, USA. Cinematography and editing was provided by Imatge Barcelona's Pol Carrizo Vilarroig. A guitarviol score was done by Acoustic Labs' Gregory Johnson.
