Bozcaada International Festival of Ecological Documentary

The world is changing continuously, and while we witness growing problems there are also hopeful developments. BIFED a platform organized to nurture the hope is preparing for its third year.

 

Countdown has begun for Turkey's uncensored festival, BIFED 2016!

 

The application period of ‘International Competition’ and ‘Gaia Student Competition’ sections of Bozcaada International Festival of Ecological Documentary, organized by Bozcaada Municipality and Bozcaada Tourism Operators Association (BOZTID) has started. Festival will take place in Bozcaada from12th to 16th October, 2016.

 

In the competition section documentaries on ecology, which will include topics of environmental and humanitarian issues, will be evaluated. Films should be made after January 1, 2012.

BIFED aims at bringing together films featuring ecology  (nature, society, business and worker health, immigration, gentrification, culture, agriculture, local rights, seed ...),  from all over the world, in Bozcaada, to combine the areas of arts and ecology, and reward the best from finalists. The deadline for applications is 15 May 2016.
