Action horror feature AUX wrapped filming

London based production and sales company Evolutionary Films are proud to announce that they have just wrapped filming on their thrilling new action horror feature AUX starring John Rhys-Davies (LORD OF THE RINGS, INDIANA JONES, THE SHANNARA CHRONICLES), Rosie Fellner (HEIST, AGE OF HEROES, THE TRIP TO ITALY) and Paul Reynolds (EDDIE THE EAGLE, THE GUVNORS, CROUPIER).

US and UK distribution for AUX is already under negotiation and the Evolutionary Films team is attending EFM 2016 to meet with buyers to secure sales in other territories.

AUX was fully funded internally as part of the Evolutionary Films private equity financing structure for production and international sales.

Evolutionary Films are at the EFM under the UK FILM Centre banner, representing a strong catalogue of third party sales titles as well as their own slate of projects scheduled for production following on from AUX.

The UK FILM space is supported by BFI Lottery funding  and organised by Film Export UK whose Chief Executive, Charlie Bloye said: "Evolutionary Films is exactly the sort of company the UK Film Centre sales umbrellas at international markets are here to host and we are pleased that UK Trade & Investment have also supported the company's market attendance though their Tradeshow Access Programme."

Prior to forming Evolutionary Films, the award winning team behind the company had collectively produced over 50 independent features and television shows and they have ambitious plans to grow the studio-based outfit into a powerhouse of UK production and sales.

AUX SYNOPSIS:

AUX begins when two young boys playing in the woods stumble across a stone “tree” which is actually the chimney and air vent for a secret bunker, undetected since WWII. They find the entrance hatch and open it. They are so terrified of what they find inside that one boy doesn’t make it back out of the bunker, and the other runs straight into the nearby road and gets hit by a car. The police investigate the accident, cordon off areas and start searching for the second boy who is presumed missing. One by one, the police start to be murdered in grisly ways. In the local old people’s home, an elderly WWII veteran sees all of this unfolding on the news and realises the truth behind the killings… But will anybody believe a senile old man as the devastation and destruction mounts up around them?
