Beautiful but aging actress Arkadina (played by 4-time Oscar nominee Annette Bening) gathers her friends on her country estate to watch her son’s new play which stars his great love Nina (Saoirse Ronan – Oscar nominated for Brooklyn). But no one in this movie is in love with the right person.

The film that took Toronto International Film Festival by storm and which continues to rack up awards and nominations everywhere from its Best Actor Award at the Tokyo International Film Festival (shared between Roland Moller and Louis Hofmann), the Audience Award in Gijon to the 14 Danish Film Award nominations and other hugely successful festival showings including London Film Festival, Rome Film Festival, Hamburg Film Festival and many more.

On top of all this the film has been a huge success at the Danish Box Office and continues strongly in its 7^th week already!

A story never told before. WW2 has ended. A group of German POWs captured by the Danish army, boys rather than men, are forced into a new kind of service under the command of a brusque Danish Sergeant. The boys soon discover that the war is far from over.

Born to be Blue

Premiered at Toronto International Film Festival where the film was picked up by IFC who enjoyed so much success with Ethan Hawke on Boyhood. The film has had further successful screenings at festivals including Tokyo International Film Festival.

The Survivalist
