The film powerfully captures Sharon’s childhood, her career as lead singer with the Dap-Kings, her confrontation with pancreatic cancer, treatment and miraculous remission testimonial. Sharon’s successful music comeback with the band and album release Give The People What They Want was nominated 2015 Grammy Award for Best R&B Album.
