Visionaria Festival in Siena to project TWO Westlake films in October...

Visionaria Film Festival in Siena, Italy has just accepted "Games People Play" (2014) and "The Martini Effect" (2013) from Ron de Cana Productions for their 22nd edition, October 8-17, 2015. Both films were written and helmed by Dawn Westlake. "Games People Play" was shot on the Canon C500 by Jon Carr. "The Martini Effect" was shot by Brandon Bondehagen on the C300. Both cameras were provided by Canon USA, Inc. because Westlake was named a Canon Platinum Filmmaker in 2002.

Scores for both shorts were provided by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs, an Alvarez-featured guitarist who has also worked on scores for HBO's "The Newsroom" and Tom Tykwer's new Tom Hanks film, "Hologram for the King" (based on the book by Dave Eggers).
