Deals at Los Cabos International Film Festival
Los Cabos International Film Festival presents more deals and announcements done during the framework of its Third Edition.
The Festival brought together leading members of the film industry, opening doors for producers, directors, distributors and active members of the film industry, catalyzing new and better opportunities for the development of their projects.
In addition of the deals announced recently, the Festival shares new negotiations:
- CineTren closed deals to handle Latin American distribution for Spring, aJustin Benson and Aaron Moorhead film, whose Latin American Premiere was held at Los Cabos International Film Festival. Negotiations betweenNate Bolotin and Marie Katz from XYZ and Manuel Garcia from CineTren,took place at the Hotel Grand Solmar.
- The German organization Media Luna acquired world rights to Internet Junkie, directed by Alexander Katzowicz and produced by Monica Lozano.
- BH5 group, which participates in the executive production of Remember by Atom Egoyan, will be working with Alonso Ruizpalacios, director of Güeros’s, in his second movie: Museo, a project that participated in the I Mexico- USA- Canada Co-production Forum.
- Entrevero by Max Zunino, also winner of the Gabriel Figueroa Film Fund second edition, was selected in the development project category byIbermedia.
- Patricia Chica, director of Wolverine Hotel which participated in I Mexico – USA- Canada Co-production Forum, recently signed a financing agreement with Jean Guy Despres, executive producer for the film. The production of the film will be carried by Byron A. Martin.
Los Cabos International Film Festival is pleased to offer the necessary elements required to build this space between Mexico, USA and Canada and providing the instruments to close the ties among them and link their respective film industries.
