Steven De Castro directorial debut documentary FRED HO’S LAST YEAR premiered during the 37th Asian American
International Film Festival (AAIFF14) at the City Cinema Village East, New York, Saturday, August 2, 2014. A special live sax performance with Fred Ho's protégé musician and cast member Ben Barson, on Ho's saxophone preceded the Q&A session with director De Castro. Questions posed by the audience to De Castro included: What inspired the making of the documentary Fred Ho?
