Reading Fringe 48 hour Film Challenge
Reading Fringe Festival and TeamTV are pleased to announce that applications are now being received for the 48 Hour Film Challenge.
You will be given a choice of three props and three lines of dialogue from which you must choose one each to include in your short (5mins max) film. You then have 48 hours to write, rehearse, film, produce and submit your film.
The judging panel includes a Professor of Film from the University of Reading, a "Flickering Myth" film reviewer and a committee member of the Reading Film Theatre (independent cinema).
The top 10 short listed films will be shown and winners announced at the Film Festival Showcase at 8.30pm on Saturday 19th July at Penta Hotel, Broad Street. Prizes for best film, best performance and best use of line/prop will be awarded.
Tickets for the showcase are available from www.readingfringefestival.co.uk; each team will receive two free tickets with their £16 entry fee.
Registration must be completed by 8pm on Thursday 26th June, with the final film submitted by 8pm on Sunday 29th June.
