Deadline for Submissions Approaching
The Yorkton Film Festival is pleased to announce that it is accepting submissions for its 2014 Festival!
Our call for entries is coming to a close at Midnight, on Friday, January 31st, 2014 (-6:00GMT).
We are North America's longest running film festival, at a robust 67 years young. The festival aims to highlight the best in short Canadian cinema, and honours winners each year at our Golden Sheaf Awards Gala.
The festival runs May 22nd - 25th, in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Our rules in a nutshell:
- 1.) All submissions must be under 60 minutes in length; our exception is our Short Subject category which has a maximum length of 15 minutes.
2.) All submissions must be Canadian productions; a Canadian production is defined as any production which would qualify as a certified production under current regulations applied by CAVCO. International co-productions are eligible only if the director is Canadian.
3.) All submissions must have been completed between February 1st, 2013 and January 31st, 2014 and cannot have been submitted for consideration for a Golden Sheaf previously.
4.) Productions are only allowed to be submitted for one category consideration.
