"The Ghosts in Our Machine" - bringing invisible animal abuse into perspective

Oscar qualifying documentary "The Ghosts in Our Machine" is about the human mistreatment towards animals, through the lens of the animal activist and photographer Jo-Anne McArthur. The journey of a year around the globe, including the USA, Canada and Europe, follows Jo-Anne's photography, looking animals in the eye, approaching their personalities and individuality.

Very compelling film, bringing to the surface the misuse of these beings in science experiments, food, entertainment and for luxury clothing.

This film is intended to anyone, not just animal lovers, because of it's informational nature, and the images aren't too shocking or graphic as you might expect. It shows not only the underground exploitation, but also the healthy relationship in animal sanctuaries, which gives a hope of a better future towards animals.



As Mahatma Gandhi (philosopher) said: "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it's animals are treated." This documentary gives a chance for everyone to reconsider the industry and the ability to respect it's surroundings.
