SICAV and PGA MOU signed during the Rio Festival 2013. On Thursday, October 03, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the SICAV, Interstate Association of Audiovisual Industry, and the PGA, "Producers Guild of America," the association of audiovisual producers in the United States. The objective of this agreement is to initiate a partnership between the two institutions in order to facilitate the exchange of information and facilitate future co-productions for Film, TV and New Media among its members. The teams of the SICAV and the PGA will work together to allow organizations of the two official delegations visiting another country to hold meetings, seminars and other instructional opportunities.

We look forward to start a close collaboration between us and our Brazilian colleagues in order to seek ways to work together in an industry increasingly global," said Stu Levy, president of the International Committee of the PGA.

Silvia Rabello, president of the SICAV, adds that "the signing of the MOU is the first milestone of the partnership between the SICAV and the PGA and is an excellent opportunity for the emergence of new business models between the Brazilian and American audiovisual industry, and promote the exchange of information and knowledge between the two institutions. "

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will occur at 18:15 h on Thursday night at the headquarters of the Producers RioMarket / River Festival, which is in the Warehouse 6 Quayside.
