Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2013 New York Collections

Despite the heavy snow and high winds that swept New York, the shows were packed with thousands of fashion attendees during New York Fashion Week February 7-12, 2013. In conjunction with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2013 Collections, runway shows, presentations, and special events held at studios, showrooms, museums, hotels, and in the tents at Lincoln Center by emerging and innovative designers included CANDELA,CHRISTIAN SIRIANO, DIANE VON FURSTENBERG, MONIKA CHIANG, PROJECT RUNWAY, SERGIO DAVILA, TIMO WEILAND, TRACY REESE and VERA WANG. Due to an overwhelming success, front-row seats were reduced to avoid a fire risk at some venues.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York (MBFWNY) presented by IMG Fashion, is the world’s premiere semi-annual fashion platform for emerging and innovative designers. With over 100 shows held back to back and after-parties each evening until the morning, MBFWNY is the forefront of fashion design, manufacturing and retail for industry professionals. Since 1943, New York Fashion Week gave American designers a chance to showcase their work. Fashion NYC 2020 (http://www.nycedc.com/resource/fashionnyc2020) will enhance New York as an international fashion leader.
