Black and White silent movie Blancanieves is the greatest winner at the 27th Goya Awards
A total of 10 Goya Awards went to 'Blancanieves', 5 to 'Lo Imposible', 3 to 'Tadeo Jones', 2 to 'Grupo 7' y 1 to 'El Muerto y Ser Feliz', 'Una Pistola en Cada Mano', 'Hijos de las Nubes', 'Intocable' y 'Juan de los Muertos'.
A bir if surprise when Academy members voted for Juan Antonio Bayona as the Best Director. One of the few Goyas Blancanieves didn´t get J.A. Bayona director of The Impossible, said that the award belonged to the over 275 thousand people who died at the tsunami catastrophe. He handed his Goya to María Belón, the survivor who inspired this film and today we´ve known that the ocean will be its last destination. She wants to honor doing this that people who were not as lucky as herself and her family.
Naomi Watts is candidate to the Oscar on Sunday for playing María´s role. Good luck. A good film that has reached the hearts of 18M viewers all over the world.
No surprises in the interpretation categories and yet another year the nonwriten rule that the actress who wins in San Sebastian Film Festival gets the Goya…
