BJFF goes to Berlin

The Boston Jewish Film Festival is thrilled to offer 8 days and 7 nights in Berlin from April 25–May 2 to take place during the Berlin/Potsdam Jewish Film Festival, a co-sponsor of the trip. The trip follows up on the great success of The Boston Jewish Film Festivalʼs trip to Berlin in 2007.

Join us as we explore Jewish Berlin and celebrate todayʼs vibrant Jewish culture. Featuring exclusive guided tours, illuminating talks, films, introductions to artists, meetings with cultural and religious leaders, and more, the trip offers unique access and exposure to this fascinating, emotionally-loaded city and its people.

Trip Highlights:

• Opening Night Berlin-Potsdam Jewish Film Festival Gala & Film at the Hans Otto Theater

• Shabbat dinner at The Kosher Classroom, a unique, elegant kosher restaurant/art gallery housed in a former Jewish girlsʼ school

• Guided tours of Berlinʼs highlights and Jewish Berlin

• Visits to Israeli artistsʼ studios

• Film followed by meeting with leaders of a local organization combating Anti-Semitism

• Tour of Potsdam

• Dining and revelry at Clärchenʼs Ballhaus, an original Weimar-era dancehall

Trip Dates: Thursday, April 25 to Thursday, May 2

Trip Price:

• $3,300 per person, double occupancy

• $1,138 single occupancy supplement

• A deposit of $500 is due upon sign up.

• Price includes a tax-deductible $600 donation to The Boston Jewish Film Festival
