5th Newport International Film Festival Award Nominations

This Saturday 12th November, The Riverfront in Newport will play host to the 5th Newport International Film Festival!

From 10am to 10pm films will be screening throughout the day, including premieres of some great documentaries, feature films and short films!

The end of the evening will have an awards ceremony for the films, some of which will have been voted on by the audience!

Best Actress
Marian Kemmer (The Gin Lady)

Best Director - Audience Award
Rob Sprackling (Rise of the Appliances)
Adam Hall (Sudden Death)
Asif Bux (Everythought)

Best Cinematography - Audience Award
Fred Khoshtinat (Taken Away)

Mark Pengally (Queensbury Rules)

Welsh Dragon Award

Best New Screenplay
To be Awarded to: 'Should Have Gone Bowling' - Glen Fulthorpe

The Award Ceremony will be held at 10pm at the Riverfront Cinema, Newport.
