Barebones script to screen festival

The NINTH ANNUAL BAREBONES SCRIPT 2 SCREEN FILM FESTIVAL AND MOVIEBIZ CONFERENCE will be held September 30th-October 3rd, 2010 at the Tulsa Community College Metro Campus in in downtown Tulsa Oklahoma.
The Thursday(Sept. 30th) festival kickoff will feature attending film makers who will participate in the film festival MovieBiz Career Day by visiting local schools and speaking with students interested in and are involved in drama, media and video production.
A Welcome and Media Reception will begin that evening at 6:30pm in the Fireplace Lounge area of the Philips Auditorium and will feature comments from 2010 Indie Film Auteur Lisandro Boccacci and Festival Marketing Director, Oscar Ray.
The festival weekend will premier a competition of independent movies and screenplays with the audience voting for their favorites. Feature length, short subject, and student movies will will kickoff on Friday at 7pm and continue through Saturday night. Music videos, documentaries, live entertainment, movie auditions, live screenplay readings, poetry readings, actor monologues, artist displays, screenwriting and acting workshops, moviemaking seminars and discussions along with a Kids View Talk Show will round out the festivities. The festival will end with a Red Carpet Gala on Sunday starting at 3:30pm in the Philips Auditorium. The event will be emceed by Spotlight Entertainments' Michael Anthamatten and Indie Filmmaker and actress Renee Michaels of Dreammakers Productions.
Proceeds from the event will go to provide scholarships for the Young Filmmakers Program Film Camps and to PAIN Foundation to support their efforts of making movies that bring awareness to domestic violence.
The event, which has showcased more than a thousand independent films and welcomed filmmakers from all over world is open to the public and tickets can be purchased at the door or online.
