Goya Nominees Gala Night
The nominees to the 26th Goya Awards got together in Madrid to celebrate their nominations in a gala hosted by Enrique Gonzalez Macho, President of the Spanish Academy of cinematography and the Vice-president of the Community of Madrid.
During this gala night Josefina Molina received the Honorary Goya Award to a lifetime of dedication to the cinema industry.
Molina expressed while receiving this prize her hope that women could have the same opportunities and conditions to get to the top posts in the cinema industry.
She was moved and she told her colleagues that “getting this award takes a long time, as you can see”.
The nominees after the photocall met the press for interviews. All were happy and proud for their nominations and some of them nervous about the final decision of their own friends and colleagues. Decision that we´ll all know on February 19th.
