The Festival of Native American Film celebrates the creative energy of Native American directors,
producers, writers, actors, musicians, cultural activists, and all the
others who support their endeavors. We accept features and shorts, narratives, documentaries, animation, video art, experimental film and new media. There are also programs for children's films and youth produced work. Films/videos must have been completed within 18 months of festival dates (after March 1, 2011). The closing date is June 1, 2012 (exceptions can be made for works-in-progress as long as the finished product is available by August 1. Complete application and provide expected finish date.) There is no submission fee. This is a non-competitive festival, however, we do recognize audience favorites for documentary, narrative and children's feature films.
