Tallgrass Film Festival Awards
The ninth annual Tallgrass Film Festival wrapped Sunday night with a sold-out screening of Anne Buford's "Elevate" and the Closing Night Gala party at the Ulrich Musuem of Art. Thanks to the Ulrich and the Galichia Foundation for sponsoring the closing night event.
With an audience of 9,500, this year's festival set attendance, ticket sales and attending filmmaker records! Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, board members, pre-screeners, programmers, staff and Wichita audiences for making this the best festival to date.

Mission
Founded in 2003, the Tallgrass Film Festival is a program of the Tallgrass Film Association. TFA is a 501(c)3 arts organization dedicated to fostering community appreciation of the cinematic arts by entertaining, educating and enlightening audiences in America's heartland through the annual Tallgrass Film Festival, the Tallgrass Third Thursday series, the summertime Cinema Al Fresco series, Tallgrass Filmmakers Lab workshops and Special Screenings throughout the year, while showcasing the city's venues, cultural attractions and artistic communities.
Affiliating with like-minded film, artistic and community organizations, Tallgrass provides support to local and regional filmmaking communities in all areas of motion picture production to spark a dialogue among filmmakers and enhance artistic expression in Wichita, Kansas and the Heartland region.
