Chaired by Shyam Benegal, the fest's MASCOT is the Schen (Snow Leopard).Endeavour is to attain national and international attention on Ladakh’s endangered species of snow leopard.

Its Mission: To introduce world class cinema and its splendour to Ladakh and show case pristine beauty and spell bound magical land of Ladakh to the world.
