KIDSEYE™ SUMMER FILMMAKING CAMP CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

KidsEyeTM Summer Filmmaking Camp was created by the RI International Film Festival 10 years ago in order to give a voice to youth filmmakers and provide them with the skills and tools necessary to bring their creative ideas to the silver screen. KidsEyeTM Summer Filmmaking Camp will be held at the University of Rhode Island from July 7-11, 2008 from 9am-3pm each day. No prior experience needed.

KidsEyeTM Summer Filmmaking Camp is a fun and exciting day-camp for youth ages 8-16. Campers work in small age appropriate groups (ages 8-11, ages 12-14, and ages 15-16). KidsEye campers will spend five days working intensively alongside professional filmmakers—Keith Brown, James Hill, and Jeffrey Roth— to write, direct, and produce their original short films. KidsEye culminates in an exciting premiere screening of the completed films at the Rhode Island International Film Festival in August.
