Introducing "Music Docs": Discovering the Best Music Documentaries of 2011 this August.
Back in 2010, the KahBang Film Festival featured the Maine Premeire of the Maynard James Keenan documentary "Blood Into Wine" to rave reviews, and with that, the KahBang Film in competition category "Music Docs" was born.
- KahBang has always strived to discover up and coming talent in both music and film, so what better way to celebrate that notion than showcase the undeniably fascinating stories of our favorite musical groups on the silver screen. 2011 has already seen a very diverse collection of Music Documentary premieres such as "Phil Ochs: There But for Fortune", the Foo Fighters doc "Back and Forth", and the 2011 release of the Martin Scorsese, George Harrison docuemtary "Living in the Material World: George Harrison".
